JOB SPEC – SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
 
 
 
Job Function:
  • Relationship management with Suppliers.
  • Achieve Sales targets, yields and Market Penetration
  • Increase level of business within the defined portfolios
  • New business growth

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve targets i.t.o Capital value financed; NPV gross profit; Average weighted yield; service turn-around-times.
  • Source new business and establish new relationships
  • Manage churn reports – refinancing opportunities
  • Negotiate finance structures with customers (Financial structuring of agreements)
  • Ensure details required on contracts and Financials are accurate, and meets credit approval requirements (must be able to read/understand and interpret Financial statements in order to motivate financing a particular customer)
  • Involves extensive paperwork and detail information, etc.
  • Communicate all aspects of the company’s service and product offerings.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers & train supplier sales people to ensure that the value-added approach is achieved.
 
Education:
  • Minimum – Matric
  • Tertiary qualification – B.Com; Marketing; Banking diploma – advantageous
  • 3-5 years Sales/Relationship Account Management experience in Financial Services industry/Banking – Leasing; Rental; Instalment sale agreements (Business development managers – preferable)
  • Financial calculations a prerequisite.
  • Credit and Risk assessments - Interpretation/understanding of Financial Statements.
  • Knowledge of Office Automation industry, and/or general asset finance – advantageous.
  • Computer literate
  • Presentation skills.
  • Drivers licence.
