JOB SPEC – SALES MANAGER JOHANNESBURG
 
 
 
Reporting To:
  • Head: Sales


Function / Job Purpose

  • Relationship management with Suppliers.
  • Achieve Sales targets, yields and Market Penetration
  • Effective management of sales team

Education:
  • 8 – 10 years Sales/Relationship Account Management experience in Financial Services industry/Banking – Leasing; Rental; Installment sale agreements
  • Management experience advantageous
  • Minimum – Matric
  • Tertiary qualification – B.Com; Marketing; Banking diploma – advantageous
  • Financial calculations a prerequisite.
  • Credit and Risk assessments - Interpretation/understanding of Financial Statements.
  • Knowledge of Office Automation industry, and/or general asset finance – advantageous.
  • Computer literate
  • Presentation skills.
  • Drivers license.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve capital targets through involvement in the transaction process, proposal of innovative deal structures and identifying additional finance opportunities.
  • Achieve yield targets through ensuring tight control of special rate requests.
  • Supplier relationship management including visits, reviews, participation and promotion
  • Manage deals by assisting with proposals, evaluating deals, maximising financing opportunities and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Manage reporting staff
  • Management functions including reporting, forecasts, calculating commissions, participation in meetings and monitoring expenses.
