JOB SPEC – SALES MANAGER JOHANNESBURG
Reporting To:
Function / Job Purpose
Relationship management with Suppliers.
Achieve Sales targets, yields and Market Penetration
Effective management of sales team
Education:
8 – 10 years Sales/Relationship Account Management experience in Financial Services industry/Banking – Leasing; Rental; Installment sale agreements
Management experience advantageous
Minimum – Matric
Tertiary qualification – B.Com; Marketing; Banking diploma – advantageous
Financial calculations a prerequisite.
Credit and Risk assessments - Interpretation/understanding of Financial Statements.
Knowledge of Office Automation industry, and/or general asset finance – advantageous.
Computer literate
Presentation skills.
Drivers license.
Responsibilities:
Achieve capital targets through involvement in the transaction process, proposal of innovative deal structures and identifying additional finance opportunities.
Achieve yield targets through ensuring tight control of special rate requests.
Supplier relationship management including visits, reviews, participation and promotion
Manage deals by assisting with proposals, evaluating deals, maximising financing opportunities and enforcing policies and procedures.
Manage reporting staff
Management functions including reporting, forecasts, calculating commissions, participation in meetings and monitoring expenses.
