For more than 25 years, Fintech has been a provider of franking services within the South African market. Since 1997, Fintech has had the capacity to offer this service in the form of electronic dial-ins.
Currently, Fintech supports two ranges in this regard, namely, the Neopost and Hasler ranges: In partnership with Hasler Business Systems, the equipment supplier, and the South African Post Office, our customers have the luxury of being able to re-credit their postage from the comfort of their office chair.
With Credifon®, our customers have a simple and quick way to re-credit their Neopost franking machine with postage funds.
With these two ranges, our clients are able to deposit funds into the Fintech bank account, using an identifying code, for allocation to their own account. The funds are then available for download onto their franking machine via a modem link.

Additional Information
All franking machines feature secure postage meters, which act as “vaults”, holding the funds that have been downloaded into the machine. These funds are then used when printing postage. Since each franking meter holds postage funds, the installation of it must be licensed by the SAPO. The application for the license is an additional service provided by Hasler and Fintech for our clients, as a normal part of the installation process, thus there is no extra cost or effort needed from our clients for this. Additionally, each time a client draws funds to their machine, they are given a 4% rebate. We then pay the postage downloaded each day to the SA Post Office.
