Ellen has a B Comm degree in Marketing from what is today known as Johannesburg University. She started her career as Product Manager for an IT company focusing on sales and marketing. After three years in Ireland as Sales and Support Engineer for a process engineering software company she returned to South Africa as Sales and Marketing Coordinator specialising in customer relationship management. She joined Fintech in February 2006 as Marketing and Communications Manager. Since then she has completed courses in Influential Business Communication, Intranet/Extranet/Portals and Integrated Marketing Communication. In 2011 the decision was made to merge the Human Resources department and the Marketing and Communications department to achieve greater synergy in promoting Fintech internally and externally, enhancing communications to all partners and foster a suitable working environment for all staff. Ellen was appointed as the Head of this new department.
